Journey from India to Germany's Masters - A real story

Image
Hi friends, & especially expats! I hope this would be an eye opener to people who want to apply germany for Masters. Paris, France First thing, Who am I to write such big topics? Am I a government officer claiming some statistics? I am a commoner like you who once upon a time also dreamt of coming to Europe and other developed countries like Singapore or Australia. I wanted to explore outside my home country, India. When I was searching for Masters during years - 2015 or 2016, the situation in USA was not great, and for middle class indian families, going to USA leads to either loans or getting university scholarships. Then I found the golden news about some courses for german universities which are at free of cost or reasonable cost. I tried to research the truth behind it & finally found one of my favourite course in Aachen university. I applied only 5 to 6 courses, and was successful in coming to Europe through German masters university.  I was warned by my well wi...

The Land of KALINGA Through my EYES - Part 1

Image
Just like many people in this world, I love to travel a lot. Today I will walk you through some parts of India which is not much highlighted but is a part of nature which must not be untouched. I feel lucky to witness such gentle and pleasant aroma which belongs to the place where I grew up. I am a small town girl, and thus gets a lot of pleasure to share about my place, culture and authenticity of every bit it has. I am an extraordinary fan of my city Cuttack. But today I am not going to bombard about it rather about few places nearby and worth visiting.  I will include about locations such as Dhabaleswar, Deras and Jhumka Dam, Satkosia Tiger Forest Reserve, Anshupa Lake, Chillika Lake and Puri. I will start describing the nearest place from my city which is Dhabaleswar. Dhabaleswar has been one of the most religious places since generations together and has been continuing till now. It is famous for its Lord Shiva Temple. The route used to reach this pilgrimage used to be thr...

Fani - The Glamorous Storm of 2019

Image
My Conversation with Nature! You were phenomenal. Your performance was an eye opener to humanity. You were a great messenger from the Almighty. You were a superficial power and showed your furiousness with humbleness. You explained the planet that nothing is impossible. You gave this world the definition of terror. You showed that there are many dimensions of a scene. You displayed all the errors and mistakes humans did. Your dangerous eyes targeted few specific areas. Your anger could be felt as ferocious as possible. You caused issues not just for humanity but to trees, animals and all things. You were an alert to the earth that nothing can exist if you don't want. You were an alarm to the tiny creatures that they are not the rulers but it's you. You were someone who made everyone realise that they can't control anything if you don't want. You proved that though you can be suspected but you can't be prevented by we, the miniatures. You redefined our management o...

Space Weather and Solar Storm

Image
I have always wondered about weather forecast and space weather having read numerous articles online regarding satellites geostationary orbits, remote sensing and navigation.  Solar Storm Its common knowledge for the scientists involved in space research that weather in the solar system is important for the health of all the satellites. If such a weather changes for the worse the satellites functioning would also be affected advertising starting off a chain reaction including disturbances in GPS systems and mobile communication networks. Today the adage is extremely important "Fore-warned is fore-armed" for space-weather science. This is because we need to be informed as early as possible of an originating storm in the solar system space because this would effect many systems including civil aviation and also flying in polar or high altitudes. The telecommunication satellites in space needs to be protected from such storms to increase the longevity of instrum...

An adorable love Story ended on this day!

The love story ended but the love will never die. The love will travel generations together, its pragmatic fragrance will radiate all around, and consequences will go on producing ever ending strong bonds and relationships hereafter.  I believe I am lucky that I have sensed the selfless, pure and true love. The love which defined what relations mean, the love which blended different mind-setup people all together with a strong torrid rope, the love which can only shower good and optimistic approach and has no space for any negativism.   It is the story of a lady who originated from India’s one of the most sacred land where the Holy Ganges flows, the famous Prayag point, Allahabad, the city very rich by its cultural heritage. She was destined to move to eastern side of India to bestow all her teachings there. She who spoke pure Urdu influenced Allahabadi Hindi became a most beloved person in the crowd of Bihari’s, and became extremely valuable in the city of resources, Ra...

Hug problems with a smile :)

Parameeta’s Prabachan :P There are so many cases in the news of girl suicides...reason might be family pressure or relationship problem or society abuse or career failure or unknown facts! I feel girls are too sensitive and they get carried away by their emotions! I am not asking you to become a robot. Emotions within us only define us as human beings. But time heals everything and you are snatching a big piece of your time period by even thinking about this. ' Addressing mainly girls in my friends list, don't prove yourself coward by committing this crime! Truth is, till today girls are not at all independent, sometimes she will depend upon her father or brother, else on boy friend or husband, throughout their life!  Yes, parents are the only precious people whom you can depend upon. But never bother about the society and friend circle, everybody will change according to you. Your this weak action will just prove you are a loser and a coward. Don't forget you hav...

Loss of the unknown innocence!

Though today was a very normal office day but with flashback of all those childhood days because of a very old friend........ Made the day fill with hilarious joy and spread with full of sweet fragrance... We chatted after years together but the common memories proved as if we met just yesterday :) We used to play cricket everyday in the evening.. The great jagannath math field adjacent my house where all the Little boys and girls gathered together after School hours... Hide and seek used to be an everyday show stopper .... Badminton practice in spring and winter, unending carom in the rainy season ! Such days existed in past in this Life only.....unbelievable it seems now! We had no idea of the boundaries in this society, No sprinkle of discrimination between boys and girls, no fear of community, just selfless love between each other when we never ever understood the word friendship or any relation..  The beautiful childhood days with thousands of fights everyday...

Gods importance - for an individual

I will like to describe My God. Once in a group discussion of a core company I got selected for the first time in my Life in this round as the topic was on sachin. I couldn't believe that I started the gd spontaneously. The most important deal is that i was not the only one but all the people of the group members who got the topic on him were selected and all others were rejected. This really defines an universal truth ie Sachin master as the majestic dynamic personality. The world feels lucky to see him on the field. India takes the pride and takes full credit that he was born on her land. Another case I would like to describe about one of his fans. It's again me. People tell me I am a complete psycho as I truly want to follow his principles and ideology in my own life. One of my friend in my company training period needed bit of help in her business soft skill. I being her friend tried to boost her confidence. But I was completely amazed when she used to ask...

Moving House

“Soft computing” is giving into imagination and if you are armed with imagination, the world lies at your feet.  I believe that in today’s India with a growing population of 1.2 billion, every family, big or small, rural or urban, would be hard pressed for a sizable house. But for an average middle class Indian family to build a conventional house is prohibitively costly. And for the rural poor and those below the poverty line, house is sometime a dream. But I have a dream that houses could be made in an unconventional way, in a way that would make it easier to build the parts in a short time and can be quickly dismantled whenever there is a need to shift to a new place. Modern textile industries can be exploited to weave tough flexible material which can be strutted in the inside by flat aluminum plates. A wall, for example can be made up of such two layers like that of a bag that has no opening. Now such a bag can be inflated with an electric air pump. If...

Signing a bond by the talented students is a must!

I am sure that a lot of natural resources are becoming a waste due to government’s bad policy. Our govt. has a vision that the brilliant and talented products of our nation are going to bring upliftment in this country. But, this is not the case. The students who take admission in govt. colleges are generally merituous and so government takes their responsibility and bears a huge cost due to these students. Compare to private institutes, due to this reason, everyone prefers govt. institutes. Everything is fine and fair till this stage. But, as the students pass out from these prestigious universities, is it not their responsibility to perform their duty for mother India?????? These people don’t understand that the country needs them and they can bring a lot of change in the present conditions. They forget the reason behind their success. They start becoming ambitious and start doing everything that will lead them to zenith. They become very selfish!!!!!!!! ...

A strong and a direct writer can change the society

Words are the biggest weapons for a writer. In many situations, words speak louder than actions. During partition of India, there were big patriots who were trying to mold the society by their writings. They were producing patriotic feelings within their readers. Really a good writer can bring lots of changes in the society. A strong writer has the power to bring revolutionary changes by his direct statement in the novel or stories. The newspaper editor has a very important role for the entire community. The public is really affected by the daily newspapers. If the editor, each day, on the first page prints all the violence pictures that include murders, terrorist attacks, 20 people killed, 5 year girl kidnapped…………Yes, everyday, this is happening. Unfortunately, these are real facts but to display on the first page creates violent thoughts, frightful feelings, it really creates negative ideas on the reader’s mind. A responsible and a critic editor will publish sport news or any...

Trio-power nations

What is my dream India? The dream to see India at high position, India becoming a developed country, highly technologically advanced, country with immense wealth...........this is a dream of a common man. But my dream is to see a different India where on both sides of the Indian map, once again, her 2 sisters would reunite again and would enjoy the past glory of 1947. The things which we studied in our history book that Pakistan and Bangladesh were all a part of India; we can see this in front of our eyes and can experience the amalgamation behind this unity. At present Pakistan and Bangladesh are hanging and India is just holding them and giving them support. But, when they reunite, everything would be united, the wealth, the army, the cricket team, the hockey team............and it would become triple talented nation. This is fully possible as India’s culture, background; history is same as Pakistan’s and Bangladesh’s. We can mingle with each other and in the united nation ...

My Tutorial Life - Tuition

Yeah, it is surprising to hear the word ‘tutorial life’. It is common to think about the memories of college or school life but this is a ‘tuition life’. Really after I completed my school final, I am seeing the walls of coaching class rooms. Before we entered the entrance gate of Ravenshaw College, we got views of our tuition sirs. And, we rarely visit our great famous Ravenshaw College because we don’t get any benefit of attending classes except attendance shortage. It is not that the teachers are horrible students but are not good tutors. Their career background might be excellent but they are not using their knowledge when interacting or communicating with us. So it is known to all that for coaching classes teaching, we are safe today. Otherwise, there would be no exam conducting and we would not have been that serious, so, at the end of the day, “we don’t know anything” this would have happened to us. In Ravenshaw there is only name and fame but having no gain. In school, ...

Is too much knowledge dangerous?

Today is 12th august, 2009. After a long time, there is a full stop to my academic exams and revision tests of subject wise. But, only for one week, then, again the same marathon race will start about the files and piles of books...... let it be. We have to do it for our career. So, now, for some minutes and particularly, at the moment, let’s come out of the chemical, physical, and mathematical library to thoughts of a literary minded with the Guru Tagore’s ideas and in the Shakespearian language with Sherlock Holmes suspense including Jules Verne and Charles dickens’s humour. Ya, ya I at least know the names of these great and authentic writers, poets, authors........ But i am not going to write anything of that standard. I am a comedian and I want that by reading, my writings, one would try to think something which they would have never dared to or had never imagined also.  So, I start............ Why everyone is crazy in this world to increase their knowledge in everyth...

The only man who can define cricket!

Image
On 5th November, 2009 a living legend made another history. Again crossed his own records, made his country proud and gave a magnificent performance on the field, entertained the crowd with series of fours and sixes. He created the headline news, the breaking news, the closing news and every news. Unfortunately this little patriot’s contribution was not enough to make his country to get into victory. Yes, your guess is perfect; he is the master blaster, little master, the passionate cricketer sachin Tendulkar. What a man Tendulkar is! Really his statement “cricket is my passion” is perfectly correct. Otherwise for 20 years one could not have continued to be an opener, the man of the match, the best scorer, the man of the series and everything. Sachin crossed the unbelievable 17000 runs in his ODI career he made another century i.e. altogether 45 centuries in one day. Half centuries are 92. No one is going to beat him at least in my lifetime. He is number one in every record. He is ...
